Landing Page Elements

Hero/Entrance Section

This section consists of an entrance slideshow and a bar of quick-links. There are two layout options available for this section: Overlay and Split.

Slideshow

  1. Slide Title
    • Alt text field
    • 30 character limit
  2. Caption
    • Description field
    • 80 character limit
  3. Slide link
    • Link Address field
  4. Overlay Layout
    • Image Resolution: 1400px by 714px
  5. Split Layout
    • Image Resolution: 1024px by 978px

Quick-Links

  1. A maximum of 5 items will be shown.
  2. The description field has a 30 character limit.

News/Stories Section

The News/Stories Section consists of 3 items: the section heading, the left column, the right column. Each of the columns has two layout options of their own.

Section Heading

  • The heading can be modified with the Text/Graphic Editor on the main body of the homepage.
  • The heading has an 80 character limit.
  • The image field in the editor is ignored.

Left Column

The left column has two layout options: single and dual. Each layout has two tool options: module and manual.

    1. Max of 1 story will show
    2. Image Resolution: 760px by 768px
    3. Title - 50 character limit
    4. Text - 315 character limit
    5. Tool Options:
      1. Module: Announcements tool

  2. Dual Layout
    1. Max of 2 stories will show
    2. Image Resolution: 760px by 485px
    3. Title - 50 character limit
    4. Text - 90 character limit
    5. Tool Options:
      1. Module: Announcements tool
      2. Manual: Slideshow tool

The left column also includes a link to more information/announcements.

  3. Ex. "View More Updates"

Right Column

The right column has two layout options: list and quad. The list layout has two tool options: module and manual. The quad layout must use a module tool.

    • Max of 4 stories will show
    • Announcements tool
    • Title: 50 character limit
    • Description: 160 character limit
  2. List View
    • Max of 5 stories will show
    • Tool Options:
      1. Module: Announcements tool
      2. Manual: Links tool
    • Title: 50 character limit
    • Description: 160 character limit

Events & Social Links Section

The Events and Social Links section will display upcoming events for the next few days and has quick links for your site's users to reach your social media pages.

Section Heading/Title

  • The heading can be modified with the Text/Graphic Editor on the main body of the homepage.
  • The heading has an 80 character limit.
  • The image field in the editor is ignored.

Background Image

  • The background image can be edited with the Slideshow tool in the main body of the homepage.
  • Only first active slide will be shown.
  • The image has a recommended resolution of 1920px by 955px.

Events

  • The events are pulled from the Upcoming Events tool on the sidebar of the homepage.
  • Up to 35 characters of the event's title will be shown.
  • Events will be shown in a columns by day and will carousel.

Section Button

  • The button can be edited from the Links tool on the main body of the homepage.
  • Only first active link in tool will show.
  • Ex. "View Calendar"

Social Links

  • The links can be edited with the Resource/News tool on the main body of the homepage.
  • The first 5 visible links will be shown.
  • The Link's title has a 30 character limit.
  • Do not change Description of the link. This is tied to the link's icon.

Pathways/Social Feed Section

The Pathways/Social Feed features a section heading and two tool options: a social media feed or pathway links.

  • The heading has an 80 character limit.
  • The image field in the editor is ignored.

Tool Options

  1. Social Media Feed
    • Facebook: Social Media Feed tool
    • Twitter: Hard coded by CMS4School
  2. Callouts
    • Slideshow tool
    • Max of 3 slides will show
    • Image Resolution: 552px by 552px
    • Text fields:
      • The Alt Text field controls the title and has a limit of 30 characters.
      • The Description field controls the hover-text and has a limit of 160 characters.
      • The Link Address field controls what the pathway links to.

Interior Pages

The banners on an interior page should have a resolution of 1920px by 510px.

Sitewide Elements

Utility Icons

  • The icons can be modified with the Resources/News Tool on the sidebar of your homepage.
  • The first 5 visible items in the tool will be displayed.
  • The icons used by each item are determined by the name of the item in the tool.

Footer Links

  • The links can be modified with the Resources/News Tool on the sidebar of your homepage.
  • The first 3 visible items in the tool will be displayed.
  • The text has a limit of 30 characters.

Footer Background Image

  • The image can be modified with Slideshow tool on the main body of your homepage.
  • Only first active image will display.
  • The image should be uploaded at a resolution of 1920px by 755px.

Footer Social Icons

  • The icons can be modified with Resources/News Tool on the sidebar of your homepage.
  • The first 6 visible items in the tool will be displayed.
  • The icons used by each item are determined by the name of the item in the tool.
