Master Content Tool on Pages
After copying the master content tool, the selected page now contains a tool that is linked to the Master Content.
- In the tool heading, you will see a tag indicating that the tool is Using Master Content.
- Instead of seeing the option to update the tool, you will see the option to Edit Master Content. Selecting this option will bring you to the master content tool in the Template Library.
Managing Master Content
After adding the master content tool to a page or pages, the master content's tool settings will show how many pages the tool is being used on. The View Pages Using Master Content option can be selected to expand to see which pages the tool is being used on. Each page will be a link that takes you to the page's content where you can find the linked tool.
Updating Master Content
Note: Changes to the Master Content tool heading will not reflect on the page tools. The tool heading will need to be updated manually for each page.
