Conversations – CMS4Schools

Conversations is part of the Secured Access feature. Conversations allow you to message within the app to specific people and groups of people. Users will need to log into the app to access their conversations. After logging in, users will receive push notifications when they have a new message.

Creating a New Conversation on the Dashboard

In the Dashboard under "Conversations", click "New"

Then you will be prompted to title the conversation and select the participants (if you do not see the name of the participant you are looking for search for their name in the search bar)
Click "Create Conversation"

Then type the message you would like sent to the participant and press "Send"
The participant will get a push notification on their phone which will prompt them to reply

Creating a New Conversation on the App

First, find the "Conversations" tab on the menu

Then press the "+" in the top left corner
You are then given the option to "Name your conversation"

Then you can search to Find the Participant you would like to message (you are able to choose more than one participant)

Click "Create" in the top right corner
This will pull up a screen that you are able to type and send your message to the selected participants

After the Conversation is created you have options in the Settings found in the top right corner

You are able to see who is in the message and add more users by selecting "Manage Participants"
You can Rename the Conversation
You can Close the Conversation, which means the participants can still see the messages but cannot send anything
You can Delete the Conversation which will remove it from all participant phones and can only be viewed on the backend
